Assam Loose Leaf Tea
RICH. FULL-BODIED. ROUSING.
For the three o'clock slump, or at daybreak, when you want a pot with a bit of weight to it. It's deep, malty and earthy, from gardens in the foothills of the Himalayas, and as loose leaf you can brew it exactly as strong as you like. It's got the backbone to take milk without losing itself, which is why there's Assam underneath our English Breakfast too.
On its own it's bolder, rounder and a good deal more stubborn. Three minutes and a splash of milk, longer if you like it fierce.
