English Breakfast 250 Tea Bags

Kettle on before anything else happens, and with 250 bags in the box it'll be a while before you run out. This is a big, malty, full-bodied cup. The gutsy African leaves grow through long, hot days on the plains, and finer Assam underneath gives it depth. Give the big leaves a few minutes to open up and you get a rich brew with enough body to take milk without disappearing into it.

You know how you like it: which mug, how strong, whether the milk goes first (it doesn't). We're exactly the same, which is probably why this one took us the longest to get right. Four minutes, not three. We like it strong.

Pour over freshly boiled water and infuse for up to three minutes – longer for an even stronger brew. Unlike mainstream tea, ours is a larger leaf size, making it even more delicious. Use a dash of milk or cream for a rich, gutsy tea that'll set you up for the day ahead.
