Darjeeling is a serious business. We've been working with India's famous Makaibari Estate for over 20 years to bring you this gentle, floral tea that's bursting with wondrous natural properties.
The secret to Darjeeling Tea's flavour is its origin: Makaibari Tea Garden, Darjeeling, India. By hand-harvesting the highest quality leaves, we make the most aromatic and flavourful cup of tea that will leave you wanting more.
For when you'd like a pot that tastes of somewhere. This is loose leaf from one garden, Makaibari, up in the Darjeeling hills, where the tea grows under the rainforest canopy. It's lighter than a breakfast blend and a lot more interesting: gentle, floral and aromatic, with a finish that hangs about.
We've been buying from the same garden for over thirty years and we're still not bored of it. Three minutes in the pot, no milk. A slice of lemon if you fancy it.
Use one teaspoonful per cup. Brew with freshly boiled water and infuse for up to three minutes.
It's delicious with a slice of lemon or on its own. We don't think it needs milk, but a small drop won't hurt.
This beautiful tea is perfect for any occasion any time of the day.
