Our award-winning Biodynamic Darjeeling Tea is from Makaibari Tea Estate in Darjeeling, India. It was the first tea farm in the world to be certified organic in 1988, and then the first to gain Fairtrade and Biodynamic certification in 1993.

Not 95%. Not just enough to call it ‘organic’. Full-blown 100% organic ingredients, grown with no nasty pesticides to give nature the respect it deserves. The butterflies will love you for it.

PLASTIC-FREE PACKAGING

Our packaging is bye-bye-forever biodegradable. No sneaky PLA glue or plain old recyclable. And that plastic-looking bit on the front? Panic not. It’s made from sugarcane waste.

BIODYNAMIC FARMING

The planet gives us the best natural flavours. In return, we nurture the earth they were grown in. Sustainable farming means all the local animals and insects are left to thrive, and the soil is regenerated for the future. 

CARING FOR FARMERS

We make tea in the most ethical way possible. That means ensuring our farmers and their families receive a fair wage and live a good life, with access to medical centres and schools.

Use one teaspoonful per cup. Brew with freshly boiled water and infuse for up to three minutes.

It's delicious with a slice of lemon or on its own. We don't think it needs milk, but a small drop won't hurt.
